Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Coachin’s website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use Coachin for a club or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Coachin’s Role

Coachin is a community platform for coaches to discover peers, exchange ideas, share resources and plays, communicate, and participate in clubs, groups, and events. Coachin does not employ, endorse, accredit, supervise, or guarantee any user, coach, club, organisation, resource, or interaction. Users are responsible for deciding whether to rely on information or engage with one another.

3. Accounts and Responsibilities

You must provide accurate, current information, keep your login credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that your use of Coachin, including any coaching activity arranged through it, complies with applicable law, safeguarding obligations, club policies, and sporting-body requirements.

4. Community Standards

You must not use Coachin to:

• post false, misleading, unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or infringing material;
• harass, threaten, exploit, or endanger another person, or share personal information without authority;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your role, qualifications, affiliation, or authority;
• upload malware, interfere with the Service, scrape data, or attempt unauthorised access; or
• use the Service for spam, unsolicited promotion, or a purpose that breaches law or third-party rights.

5. User Content and Moderation

You retain ownership of content you submit to Coachin. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt where technically necessary, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content solely to operate, improve, promote, and protect the Service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to grant this licence. We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content, and suspend or terminate accounts, where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, or comply with law. We are not required to monitor all content.

6. Privacy

Your use of Coachin is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information.

7. Intellectual Property

Coachin and its branding, software, design, and other Service materials are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable law. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these terms, no rights are granted to you. Do not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except where permitted by law or with our written consent.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Coachin does not warrant that the Service, user content, coaching advice, resources, connections, or events will be accurate, suitable, safe, uninterrupted, or error-free. Coaching and sporting activities can involve risk; you are responsible for using sound professional judgment and appropriate safety practices. To the extent permitted by law, Coachin is not liable for losses arising from user interactions, user content, third-party services, or activities occurring outside the Service.

9. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service, or update these terms, where reasonably necessary for the Service, security, legal requirements, or our users. We will post material updates here and revise the date below. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms. You may stop using Coachin at any time.
